Questions about pricing

What do I get for free?

Starter is free forever for both partners. It includes a shared family calendar that pulls your Google Calendars into one view, a shared todo list, a meal planner, and a weekly digest. No card needed.

What happens after the 14‑day trial?

You can keep the paid plan or drop to Starter at any time. Cancel from Settings before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

Do both of us pay?

No. One subscription covers the whole household. Both partners get the same view of the calendar, todos, Familypedia, and briefings.

Do you support Outlook, iCloud, or other email?

Hermo reads email from Gmail only, through Google‑audited OAuth. On Helper, it processes email from up to 50 senders you choose; on 3rd Parent, it reads your whole inbox on autopilot. Starter does not connect to email at all. The rest of Hermo works regardless of which inbox you use.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from Settings whenever it suits the household.

Is my data safe?

Hermo connects to Gmail through Google‑audited OAuth. Hermo doesn’t send email, reply to anyone, or delete anything from your inbox. The database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Hermo has completed an external security audit by TAC Security. See security for the full detail.

What if I send a lot of email?

3rd Parent includes 100 emails read per day. Above that, each additional email is £0.01. Most households never see the overage; it exists so power users are not capped.
